Bakoni Forest Lodge is situated in a forest in the valley amongst the Bakoni ruins and consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area that opens up onto several verandas. The infinity pool with jacuzzi jets takes center stage along with the magnificent mountain views. Close by, but importantly separated deep under the forest canopy is a well-equipped boma area.

This ensures the exclusive use of the Forest Lodge. The rates are on a self-catering basis. Later weekend check-out times are welcome at an extra cost of R250 per person if there are no same day check-in guests.

Sleeping Arrangements
All ten bedrooms are furnished to the same standard and have similar proportions, occupying some 60m² of bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, outdoor shower and veranda. All have fireplaces, most having fires in the bathrooms too. All rooms have private verandas and have either mountain, river or bush views. The twin outdoor showers have remained a highlight since the lodge was built in the last century - 1999.
One can book a minimum of three bedrooms up to all ten bedrooms depending on the size of your group.
All bedrooms of similar standard -
configured as king or twin beds.
All bathrooms have a bath and a his-and- hers outside shower.
